Access

The Virginia Science and Technology Campus Library primarily serves the GW community, including current students, faculty, staff and alumni. Access is also granted to GW affiliated universities, schools and organizations and members of the public using the Foundation Center Collection.

Non-GW individuals, including WRLC participating institution affiliates and Foundation Center users, are welcome to visit during our regular business hours: Monday - Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. 

Students, Faculty and Staff from Universities in the Area

Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC)

Students, faculty, and staff from member institutions may enter the library. Present a current photo ID from your WRLC institution at the Enterprise Hall Security Desk.

Chesapeake Information and Research Library Alliance (CIRLA)

 

Students, faculty, and staff at any of the member institutions may enter the library. Guests must present a current valid ID from a CIRLA Institution. Students from University of Maryland-College Park must present a current semester validation card with their ID.

Students, Faculty and Staff from ARL Institutions

Students, faculty, and staff from any Association of Research Libraries (ARL) member institution may enter the library. Guests must present a current, valid ID from an ARL institution. For a list of ARL member institutions, visit the ARL web site.
